Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A direct hire opportunity is available for a qualified pharmacist to support our pharmacy services with a focus on patient care and medication safety. This role involves a rotating schedule between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Candidates must be comfortable working rotating shifts; details will be clarified during the phone screening.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing proactive patient counseling and medication education over the phone, addressing inquiries about new prescriptions, refills, side effects, medication adherence, and proper use.
• Collaborating with prescribers and their offices to clarify prescriptions and resolve clinical issues that might delay dispensing.
• Reviewing and clinically verifying new and refill prescriptions to ensure therapeutic appropriateness, identify drug interactions or contraindications, and confirm dosing accuracy.
• Performing pharmacist verification of filled prescriptions within a high-volume, closed-door fulfillment environment to ensure accuracy in drug selection, dosage, quantity, and labeling before dispensing.
• Assisting pharmacy management with prescription receiving, processing, and transferring, owning the transfer process to ensure success from start to finish.

Qualifications:

• Active, clear pharmacist license in the state.
• 0-6 years of pharmacy experience; retail, mail order, or specialty pharmacy backgrounds are preferred.
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
