Civil Construction Inspector II As a Civil Construction Inspector II in the Water Business Group, you will ensure that civil infrastructure projects – including roads, bridges, water and wastewater facilities, pump stations, and pipelines – are constructed safely, meet design specifications, and comply with quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Conduct and document observations of construction as it progresses for civil projects related to civil infrastructure. Collaborate with other field representatives or Project Managers. Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, and identify discrepancies or conflicts within the documents. Provide guidance to less‑experienced field staff as needed. Perform other duties as needed. Preferred Qualifications Technical school or Associate degree. Relevant Industry Certifications. Ability to interpret construction schedules. Required Qualifications Requires high school diploma or equivalent. (Candidates with 8 years of relevant construction inspection experience may substitute experience for a high school diploma) A minimum of 3 years experience. Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook). Proven problem‑solving and documentation abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compensation Expected compensation range: $32.13 to $52.16 per hour, depending on skill, experience, education, and geographical location.
