Quality Inspector
The Quality Inspector performs inspections utilizing CMM, Vision System, Mechanical hand tools, and visual for dimensional inspections to ensure that all products meet customer specifications and requirements.
Essential Duties:
- Perform inspections of incoming raw material, outside processes, finished product.
- Perform in-process inspections as required and FAI inspections per AS9102.
- Maintain inspection and quality records as directed by Manager.
- Program/Operate CMM utilizing customer information.
- Program/Operate Vision System utilizing customer information.
Requirements:
Work Environment: Climate controlled environment.
Work tools frequently used - hand measuring devices, CMM, gages.
Education: High School or Associates degree desired.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
A minimum of three years Quality Control experience.
Aerospace industry experience.
CMM programming experience.
Skills: Basic metrology and GD&T.
Blue print reading.
Basic computer skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
Able to lift 40 lbs.
