Locum Emergency Medicine (MD/DO) Mississippi Hospitals (Trauma Facilities)

Amergis Healthcare is seeking emergency medicine physicians to help cover two trauma designated hospitals in Mississippi. The facility is looking for doctors able to cover 5+ shifts a month on an ongoing basis through the year.

Hospital/Position Details

Location: Meridian and Booneville, Mississippi
Trauma Level: Trauma III and Trauma II levels respectively
Start Date: May-June start expected
Volume: 14k & 34k annual volume
Schedule: 7a-7p, 7p-7a
EMR system: Epic

Requirements

Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine. Will accept board eligible in emergency medicine ONLY
Active MS state license & MS DEA
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience post-residency
Strong communication and patient care skills
