How Our Selling Colleagues Spend Their Day Begin each day energized and ready to make an impact. Greet teammates warmly, ensure the sales floor is clean and prepared, and review sales goals, new arrivals, and current promotions. Focus on the customer – offer a warm welcome, engage in personal conversation, and build relationships to bring customers back. Full‑time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, while part‑time colleagues are typically scheduled 12–24 hours per week. Wrap‑up the moment to close the customer’s shopping journey, celebrating their purchases. Maintain department recovery standards, including selling floor and fitting rooms. Deliver optimal merchandise execution, ensure accurate pricing, and process markdowns accurately and timely. No education or experience required. Essential Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing or walking (at least two consecutive hours) around the store or department. Frequent use of computers and handheld electronic equipment. Reaching, including above eye level, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and color vision. Lifting and moving items weighing up to 30 lbs.
