Receiving Clerk
PGS Worldwide is seeking a Receiving Clerk in Nashua, NH for a one-year onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company.
The Receiving Clerk will coordinate the verification, inspection, receipt, and routing of incoming materials. This role includes checking shipments for accuracy and damage, comparing contents against purchasing records, documenting discrepancies, entering receipt information into Oracle, and helping move packages throughout the facility.
Required Skills
- High school diploma.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- 1–2 years of receiving experience.
- Basic understanding of PC applications.
- Oracle experience.
- Ability to inspect incoming materials for damage.
- Ability to verify shipment quantities and contents.
- Ability to compare shipping paperwork with purchasing records.
- Ability to accurately enter and maintain receiving information.
- Ability to document missing, damaged, or incorrect materials.
- Ability to follow procedures for handling classified or hazardous materials.
- Ability to use manual or powered material-handling equipment.
- Ability to use hand tools when moving heavy or awkward packages.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping accuracy.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate the receipt and inspection of incoming materials.
- Visually inspect packages and contents for damage.
- Verify quantities and confirm that the correct items were received.
- Compare shipment paperwork with original purchasing records.
- Enter receiving verification into Oracle and related systems.
- Document missing or damaged parts and complete required paperwork.
- Route packages according to applicable inspection codes.
- Follow procedures for classified and hazardous materials.
- Assist with package delivery throughout the facility.
- Use powered or manual equipment and hand tools to move materials.
- Support additional receiving and material-handling activities as assigned.
Work Schedule / Shift
Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:30 PM. 1st shift. 9/80 schedule. No overtime or travel expected.
Pay
$23.00 per hour
