Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and well-connected Event Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing all events held within our venue, from initial planning through onsite execution, while also driving new business through an established network of clients, local vendors, and community connections.

Key Responsibilities

•          Serve as the primary point of contact and onsite coordinator for all events hosted at the venue, ensuring smooth setup, execution, and breakdown

•          Leverage existing relationships with clients, local businesses, and vendors to generate bookings and build long-term partnerships

•          Represent the venue at local trade shows, networking events, and community functions to market available event space and generate new leads

•          Coordinate with vendors (catering, AV, decor, rentals, etc.) to ensure all event requirements are met

•          Manage event timelines, logistics, and onsite staff to ensure each event runs seamlessly

•          Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the planning process and during the event itself

•          Troubleshoot and resolve any onsite issues quickly and professionally

•          Maintain and grow a network of preferred vendors and community business contacts

•          Track event details, client communications, and vendor agreements to ensure accuracy and follow-through

•          Manage all contracts for the venue spaces

Qualifications

•          Prior experience in event coordination, venue management, or a related hospitality/marketing role

•          Established relationships with local vendors and businesses strongly preferred

•          Comfortable representing the venue at trade shows and networking events

•          Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously

•          Excellent communication and client-service skills

•          Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and be physically present onsite for all venue events

•          Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt quickly during live events

•          Experience with scheduling formats and Google Business Applications.

Work Environment

This is an onsite role requiring regular attendance at events held within the venue, as well as periodic travel to local trade shows and vendor/client meetings.
