Developer Experience Engineer

Salary: $97,000 - 137,000 per year Requirements:

• Were looking for someone who has built developer experience at an API-first company and has previously reduced time to first working call.
• You write and ship code and SDKs, not just documentation.
• You know how to design onboarding that makes a first build feel clear and straightforward.
• You build with agentic tools, create reference implementations, and identify friction in quickstarts as something to fix.
• You can turn real implementations into reusable patterns and understand where developers are likely to get stuck.

• Own the path from sign-up to a first working agentic app, including quickstarts, SDKs, sample apps, and implementation guides.
• Document canonical patterns for building agentic apps on Napster based on real implementations.
• Reduce the time from sign-up to a first working call.
• Set the standard for excellent agentic developer experience.
• Create partner-ready examples and capture implementation knowledge that currently exists informally.
• Work with API product leads, agent-platform engineers, and partner engineers to resolve implementation challenges.
