Student Worker - WVPAC Support Technician 1 & 2
The WVPAC Support Technician's primarily responsibilities are to setup, operate, maintain, and strike events in the Winter Visual & Performing Arts Center's venues. Level 1 vs. level 2 hiring is based on prior experience and current knowledge.

Position Summary Information
Hours per week: Up to 30 hrs/week including Evenings & Weekends
Days Worked: Flexible
Hours/Shift worked: Flexible
Required Qualifications: Have prior experience with Audience or Talent Management, Audio Recording or Reinforcement, FX, Lighting, Costuming, Properties, Networking, Rigging, or Video equipment. Have a positive attitude, and the ability to work well with other students, staff, faculty and the general public. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Being accurate and attentive to detail. Customer-service oriented
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in troubleshooting, programming, and repairing Audio, FX, Lighting, Costuming, Properties, or Video equipment and systems. A background in the Live Performance & Entertainment industry. Minimum 2.5 GPA
Job Duties: Possible duties include: Back-of-House Management, Front-of-House Management, etc. Setup, operate, maintain, and strike equipment and venues. Update and maintain all paperwork, and/or other systems which allow other workers to successfully perform their duties. Cross-train with other production departments and equipment. All other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort: Able to lift 50 lbs. Available to work evenings and weekends
