We’re looking for an Assistant General Manager who’s ready to grow into a bigger leadership role—and wants more than just a title change.

As the AGM in our Orchard Park showroom, you’ll work side-by-side with the General Manager to lead the sales team, elevate the customer experience, and keep the operation running strong. You’ll have a front-row seat to the business while building the skills and confidence to eventually lead a showroom of your own.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead from the floor.
Be visible, engaged, and involved with the team. Help set the tone, create energy, and keep everyone focused on the customer and the goal.

Coach and develop people.
Partner with the GM on 1:1s, coaching conversations, team huddles, and ongoing development. You’ll help people get better—and learn how to become a better leader yourself.

Drive the customer experience.
Our business is about more than selling furniture. You’ll help create an experience that makes customers want to come back and makes our team proud of what they do.

Learn the business.
Sales, operations, staffing, performance, inventory, problem-solving—you’ll get exposure to all of it. Think of this as your leadership training ground.

Step in when it matters.
Help make decisions, solve problems, support the team, and keep the showroom moving when things get busy. We need someone who can see what needs to happen and jump in.

What We’re Looking For

You don't need to know everything on day one. We’re looking for someone who knows how to lead people, takes ownership, and is ready for more.

You’ll probably thrive here if you:

• Have 2–4 years of retail management experience (commission-based retail is a plus)
• Communicate clearly and know how to have both the easy and the tough conversations
• Naturally build relationships and earn trust
• Are organized, dependable, and comfortable making decisions in a busy environment
• Enjoy coaching people and helping them reach their potential
• Are comfortable working 8–12-hour shifts , including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Can lift up to 75 lbs. with assistance for product demonstrations
