Retail Operations Coordinator

Seed Cupboard Nursery is hiring a friendly, organized Retail Operations Coordinator to support our customer experience and daily operations . This role is hands-on , customer-facing, and is a key part of keeping our retail barn and office running smoothly. You'll play a central role in our customer experience - greeting visitors, running checkout, supporting retail merchandising, and helping coordinate daily and seasonal priorities in a fast-paced environment . Every day is a little different, and your work keeps our customers happy, ensures the barn shop stays inviting, and helps keep our operations aligned . What You'll Do Welcome customers and lead the checkout experience Build positive customer relationships and uphold our hospitality standards Keep retail and office spaces clean, stocked, and inviting Create and update signage for products, seasonal displays, and sales Receive deliveries, tag products, and manage backstock of gift shop merchandise Assist with office tasks, phone and email communications, and daily coordination Stay informed about daily nursery operations, customer programs, and incoming and outgoing orders Collaborate on nursery processes, programs, projects, special events, and seasonal maintenance Assist with a variety of seasonal priorities throughout the nursery, including indoor and outdoor tasks Qualifications 2+ years of customer service experience required 1-2 years administrative or coordinator experience (preferred) Experience using a computer and point of sale systems Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changes in workloads, tasks, and circumstances Strong organization, communication, and teamwork skills Reliable, positive, and able to work independently and on a team Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in variable weather Why Join Us Small, supportive team Active, hands-on role with real impact Seasonal rhythms and opportunities to learn nursery operations Schedule Consistent scheduling by seasonal needs Spring full-time; fall/winter schedule flexibility and holiday time off Weekend availability required Compensation: Hourly; $19.00 or based on experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
