Mechanical Claims Adjuster

Bringing automotive expertise to a professional remote environment, the Mechanical Claims Adjuster will investigate, evaluate, and negotiate vehicle repair claims while managing costs and ensuring accurate coverage determinations. Key Responsibilities: Adjudicate and authorize claims within dollar-limit authority, ensuring accuracy in coverage information Handle an average of 50-70 inbound calls daily from repair centers and customers, providing clarity on coverage and financial commitments Review claims based on reported scenarios, collecting and verifying diagnostic information from repair facilities Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent work experience 1-2 years of experience at a dealership or independent auto repair shop 1-2 years of knowledge in automotive repair procedures, processes, parts, and repair costs Proven success in negotiation and problem-solving Familiarity with ProDemand, Alldata, and Carfax is a plus
