Sam's Club #6423, 300 N Galleria Dr, Middletown, NY 10941-3036 Responsibilities Assist management with supervision of associates in the assigned area. Assign duties, communicate goals, provide feedback, and train associates on processes and procedures. Offer direction and guidance on member service approaches and techniques to resolve member complaints per company guidelines. Support marketing efforts: process memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts; encourage renewals; participate in sales and marketing events; maintain documentation. Provide member service: acknowledge members, identify needs, assist with purchasing, locate merchandise, guide use of self‑service technology, process transactions, and fill club pick‑up orders. Oversee area: handle claims and returns, zone the area, arrange merchandise, identify shrink and damages; maintain cart and parking lot cleanliness. Complete accounting records, file transactions, and follow accounting procedures. Create and interpret financial analysis reports; assist with investigations; prepare daily deposits; oversee cash fund transfers; investigate overages and shortages. Develop and implement processes and practices to meet business needs; collaborate across teams; analyze information; monitor progress and results. Promote compliance with policies, procedures, ethics, and standards; apply the Open Door Policy; assist management with ethical and compliance issues. Lead and participate in teams; share resources and information; coordinate assigned work; provide advice, feedback, and support to ensure quality and timelines. Model and support a culture of belonging and continuous improvement. Act with integrity, accountability, and customer‑centric decision‑making. Minimum Qualifications 6 months of retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register). 6 months of customer service experience. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications Experience leading a front‑end team and supervising (hiring, evaluating, mentoring, managing workload). Primary Location Middletown, NY 10941‑3036, United States of America Compensation Hourly wage: $23.00 – $31.00 (subject to applicable minimum wage law). Premiums: $0.35 – $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
