Maintenance Technician

DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance (PM) on plant machinery. In this role, you will ensure operational safety and quality, collaborate with production teams, and help train team members on proper equipment care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance (PM) and component replacements.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and equipment defects to minimize downtime.

• Ensure strict compliance with all OSHA safety regulations.

• Utilize quality instruments (micrometers, tape measures, gauges) to ensure specifications are met.

• Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required. (Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology preferred).

• Experience: 2 to 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, OR a relevant Associate Degree.

• Skills: communication, time management, and troubleshooting abilities. Forklift experience is a plus.

• Testing: Must pass required maintenance assessment tests, physical work steps testing, and hands-on evaluations.

Location: Vonore, TN

Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)

Pay Rate: $32.00 – $40.00 / hour (depending on experience)

Responsibilities

• Complete Preventative Maintenance (PM) procedures and inspections of machine components t
• Troubleshooting and repairing equipment as necessary
• Must be able to maintain a constant and consistent flow of material in the machine, while adjusting machinery if necessary to facilitate an efficient flow of material.
• Must be able to Set-up equipment to run material to meet customer specifications.
• Participate on and understand Root Cause Analyses (RCA) practices.
