Machinist Assistant (Remote AK) - Seasonal Welding & Prep

Alaska General Seafoods in Naknek, AK is seeking an entry-level machinist assistant for the plant. The role trains a candidate to become a machinist, performing day-to-day support, equipment maintenance, and startup tasks.

Ideal candidates have basic mechanical aptitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work long shifts in a cold seafood processing environment. The position includes travel to remote sites and seasonal workload May–July.
