Civil Designer

Job Summary Join our client as a Civil Designer in Dallas, TX a 100% employee-owned firm that has been solving the world's toughest infrastructure challenges since 1898. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 9+ years of hands-on CAD design experience along with expert-level proficiency in civil engineering software. Location Dallas, Texas Job Type Contract Salary $47.00 - 67.80 per hour Work Hours 8am to 5pm Education Bachelors Responsibilities Independently develop, modify, and produce detailed civil engineering design drawings, plan sets, and construction documents using OpenRoads Designer, OpenBridge Designer, and Civil 3D. Apply and enforce company, client, and industry CAD standards across all deliverables, performing thorough quality control reviews to ensure absolute accuracy and completeness. Partner closely with multi-discipline teams of engineers, designers, and project managers to integrate complex systems, identify design conflicts, and implement sound technical solutions. Provide technical guidance and support to junior drafters while actively contributing to the continuous improvement of CAD workflows, templates, and detail libraries.
