The Leasing Agent’s responsibilities may vary slightly based on location; however, strong communication skills and a personable demeanor are key factors to success. The ability to multi-task and be adaptive to changing responsibilities while maintaining a positive attitude are also crucial. This position is located in Golden, Colorado. Responsibilities Complies with local and federal Fair Housing Standards Touring prospects and leasing apartments Responsible for updating resident databases Process applications Responds to residents’ inquiries Conducts inspections of vacant apartments Qualifications High school diploma/GED equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred 1-2 years of experience in sales and customer service, previous leasing experience required Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Approachable and friendly demeanor Strong time management, organizational and problem-solving skills Must be able to work with all levels of employees Compensation Hourly Rate Range for this position: $18.00 - $22.00 Leasing Commissions Up to 8% Annual Property Management Bonus 401(k) with a company match Medical, Dental, Vision and Health Savings Accounts Company Paid Life, AD&D, LTD, and STD PTO Company Paid Family Leave Program Tuition Reimbursement Program It always has been and continues to be Draper and Kramer’s policy that employees should be able to enjoy a work environment free from all forms of unlawful employment discrimination.
