Bindery Machine Operator

Bindery Floater-Helper (Temporary)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist bindery operators with material handling as needed.
• Float between assigned rooms and work areas based on production needs.
• Load machines with paper and load trays with products, if trained.
• Complete banding tasks and other bindery functions, if trained.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Perform additional duties as reasonably requested by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Preferred: Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Frequent use of hands and fingers.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs .
• Good hearing and 20/20 corrected vision required.
• Work is performed in a manufacturing environment .

Pay Details: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour
