Job Description About Our Church: Quinton Baptist is a biblically-based, loving church located in Southern New Jersey. We offer a contemporary service with an average weekly attendance of 130-150. We offer programs for many different age groups, including children, teen, young adult and adult. Our goal is to reach people with the gospel, to grow deeper with the Lord and to have an impact in our community. Position Description We are seeking a full-time Associate Pastor who will work with the Senior Pastor in shepherding the church. The Associate Pastor will also be tasked with developing discipleship in the church for families as well as being directly involved in outreach into our community. Specific responsibilities are: Share with and divide the full range of pastoral responsibilities with the Senior Pastor. This includes occasional peaching, teaching, visitation, meetings and involvement in funerals and weddings. Oversee family ministries with an emphasis on discipleship. This will involve leading and teaching different age groups as compatible with spiritual gifts. Work with Senior Pastor in planning and executing outreach. Requirements A heart for God and for His people A call from God to the pastoral ministry Fulfill qualifications of I Timothy 3:1-7 Growing knowledge of God's Word Strong prayer life Commitment to family Ability to work well with others Teachable spirit Agreement with the church's Statement of Faith and Covenant Preferably have three to five years' experience in church ministry Ability to communicate clearly in oral and written form Experience in personal evangelism Education Bachelor's degree in biblical studies Must be willing to submit to a background check #J-18808-Ljbffr Quinton Baptist Church)
