Senior Director of GMS FP&A & Capital Management

Locations Considered Parsippany, NJ or Dublin, Ireland Role Overview The Senior Director for FP&A is a senior leadership role responsible for leading all FP&A activities within GMS (Global Manufacturing and Supply) and generating insights and outputs for the Plant Network Strategy and Zoetis Capital spend. Key Responsibilities FP&A for Month End Provide oversight of executive summaries on the monthly financials in GMS, ensuring leadership receives rigorously reviewed financials, and assist in understanding and managing business performance. Budget/Forecast Direct preparation of the annual budget process, set timelines, manage standard‑setting, liaise with Commercial Finance, and ensure full reconciliation of results with comprehensive analysis. Financial Performance, Control and Guidance Ensure compliance with corporate policies, assist with audits, and lead all FP&A activities, including presentation of financial results, forecasts, and business cases. Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary finance business partner to the SVP Finance GMS, act as the key point of contact to HQ leadership, and lead GMS ZTD projects. Guidance Own the end‑to‑end financial planning cycle and FP&A calendar, ensuring communication of initiatives and policy adherence. General Enhancements Drive process improvement and technology adoption, lead FP&A transformation initiatives and AI enhancements, and create standardized KPIs and dashboards. Capital and Plant Network Strategy Partner on Plant Network Strategy and capital projects, provide ROI analysis, and manage CAPEX spend and reviews. Team Leadership Lead a team of 6, fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development. Qualifications and Experience Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s or MBA preferred; Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) preferred. Experience At least 15 years in finance/manufacturing finance with increasing responsibility, deep understanding of manufacturing finance principles and a manufacturing P&L. FP&A & Business Partnering Extensive expertise in FP&A reporting, complex modeling, and presenting to senior executive leadership. Process Improvement & Transformation Proven history in leading change, process improvement, and transformation initiatives. Technical Skills Experience with SAP S/4HANA (benefit) and OneStream (plus); Knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, inventory and cost accounting; Power BI skills. Soft Skills Strong analytical, strategic thinking, executive communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to influence senior stakeholders. Other Competencies Independent judgment, multitasking under tight deadlines, and comfort in a fast‑paced environment. Travel & Work Arrangement Approximately 20% domestic and international travel. Hybrid work model: ~50% onsite (Parsippany, NJ or Dublin, Ireland) with flexibility across time zones. Compensation Base salary range: $220,000 – $335,000.
