Role Description The Real Estate Agent is a full-time, hybrid role based in Columbia, MD, with flexibility for some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and nurturing leads, conducting buyer consultations and listing presentations, and guiding clients through property showings, market analyses, offers, and contract negotiations. The agent will prepare and review real estate documents, coordinate with lenders, inspectors, and title companies, and ensure smooth, compliant transactions from initial contact to closing. The role involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of local market trends, utilizing brokerage tools and systems for client management, and participating in team meetings, training, and community events. The agent is expected to deliver consistent, professional customer service while building a sustainable book of business and long-term client relationships. Qualifications Active Real Estate License and solid understanding of Real Property laws and regulations. Experience in Residential Real Estate and knowledge of local Columbia, MD market conditions. Strong Sales skills, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing techniques. Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and handle confidential information responsibly. Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing in-person client meetings with remote administrative and follow-up tasks. Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple transactions and deadlines effectively. Comfort with technology, including CRM systems, listing platforms (MLS), virtual meeting tools, and digital transaction management software. High level of professionalism, integrity, and self-motivation, with a commitment to ongoing training and professional development.
