Cloud Threat Intelligence Analyst

Location: Remote Employment Type: Contract Posted 6 days ago Job Description The Cloud FinOps Analyst is the execution and analytical engine of customer’s AWS cost‑optimization engagement, delivered by OpenKyber. Operating offshore, this analyst accelerates every phase of the engagement from initial CUR data processing and tagging audits to billing alert configuration, dashboard builds, and ongoing monitoring support. The analyst works closely with the onshore Senior Cloud FinOps Consultant and reports to the Engagement Project Manager. The client also has a private data center with VMware; experience with cost analysis of a private cloud is a big plus. Responsibilities Process and analyze AWS Cost and Usage Reports (CUR) and audit tagging across the organization. Configure billing alerts and build dashboards to provide visibility into cost drivers. Provide ongoing monitoring and support to maintain optimized cost structures. Collaborate with the onshore Senior Cloud FinOps Consultant and report to the Engagement Project Manager. Qualifications 2 to 5 years of experience in cloud cost management or FinOps roles. Proficiency with AWS cost tools such as Cost Explorer and AWS Cost and Usage Reports. Experience configuring billing alerts and building dashboards for cost monitoring. Experience with cost analysis of private cloud environments (VMware) is a big plus.
