Senior Accountant

Location: St. Paul, MN Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: $90K-$110K About the Opportunity Pathway Talent Partners is partnering with a well-established manufacturing client to identify a Senior Accountant. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting month-end close, depositing checks and managing cash application. This position offers an opportunity to create and drive processes, while receiving guidance and support. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies Reconcile bank accounts and ensure accurate records Reconcile inventory twice monthly and investigate variances Manage accounts payable for multiple companies Process bi-weekly payroll and record payroll journal entries Generate and distribute project invoices Create and submit purchase orders with the Operations Manager Register for sales tax and file monthly, quarterly, and annual returns Process and reconcile company credit card transactions Deposit checks and apply cash to outstanding receivables Support the Controller and assist with special projects as needed Qualifications Four-year degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field 5+ years accounting experience Self-starter with the ability to work independently with little direction, as well as being comfortable in a team-oriented environment Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to prioritize/organize daily workload Exposure to process improvement ideas in an accounting setting is highly desired Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with employer contributions Paid time off and paid holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr
