We are Dover Precision Components, #LifeAtDPCResponsibilitiesOperate required machinery and equipment; including, but not limited to electric hand tools, manual hand tools, small overhead cranes, pallet jacks, electric hand jacks, etc.Assemble mechanical & electronic assemblies and kits using a variety of tools and equipmentFollow the Non-Conforming Material (NCM) process, ensuring NCM material is properly red-tagged and placed in the appropriate locationWork with team to meet daily production goals while following a manufacturing scheduleRead and understand all policies, procedures, work instructions and test instructions associated with assigned station(s)Report issues that may jeopardize employee safety, product quality, and/or on-time deliveryAdhere to the 6S program, (5S + Safety) keep your station(s) and work area clean, well-organized, and free of any safety hazardsBe on time, at your station, & ready-to-work at the beginning of your shift, after lunch, and break timesOther duties or special projects, as requiredRequirementsHigh school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferredAble to read, write, and speak English fluentlyMinimum of 1-3 years of experience in light general manufacturing assemblyExperience with using a variety of tools for the assembly of mechanical and electrical componentsFamiliar with 5S and general safety requirementsAbility to read and understand manufacturing work instructions with minimal assistanceProven track record of meeting production goals without sacrificing qualityOccasional evening and weekend work may be required as work orders demandThis position may require employee to bend, push, and pull product; use hand tools and solvents and/or lubricants; and, lift boxes/parts up to 40lbs.
