We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead Real Estate and Farm and Ranch Management (FARM) business development efforts throughout the Cape Girardeau region. This leadership role is ideal for a relationship-focused professional who enjoys building business, developing teams, and creating growth opportunities in rural communities.
What You’ll Do
- Lead regional Real Estate and FARM business development initiatives and sales strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with landowners, agricultural professionals, community leaders, and referral partners.
- Collaborate with the National Sales Team, Area Vice President of FARM, Farm Managers, and Real Estate Associates to drive revenue growth.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to a team of 8-12 Real Estate Associates.
- Assist with real estate transactions, auctions, and business development opportunities.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top real estate talent within the region.
- Represent Farmers National Company at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and community functions.
- Monitor market conditions, industry trends, and growth opportunities throughout the territory.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration , Agricultural Studies, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10+ years of experience in real estate, appraisal, sales, business development, or leadership roles.
- Active Real Estate License within the service territory.
- Active Real Estate Broker License within the service territory.
- Proven ability to build relationships, develop business, and lead high-performing teams.
- Strong communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills .
Preferred
- Agricultural real estate, farm management, appraisal, or land services experience.
- Knowledge of agricultural markets and rural communities.
