Carollo’s vision is to be the BEST water consulting firm and you’ll find that Carollo is also the best place for you to build your career.ResponsibilitiesPerform detailed structural design for water and wastewater treatment facilities by working with other project team members to understand and integrate their requirements into the structural design, coordinating design details between various project design disciplinesPerform and document calculations, drawing markups for drafting and review calculationsPrepare reportsDevelop plans and specificationsPreparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverablesProvide engineering services during constructionProvide oversight of junior staff professionals, staff work, and assigned projectsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with Structural EmphasisMinimum of 4 years of experience in the design of structuresRegistration as a Professional Engineer Structural engineering design and detailing skillsDemonstrated ability in design of concrete and steel structures and foundationsKnowledge of Structural design codes and standardsExperienced at preparing construction drawingsHave the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project teamHighly motivated, articulate, and self-startingProficient in MS Word and ExcelExperience with STAAD or RISA-3DPreferred QualificationsPreferred education includes a Master’s Degree in Structural EngineeringExperience with ASCE 41 seismic evaluationsLicensed Structural EngineerCompensation Range$104,000 to $147,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
