Salary: $235,000–$385,000 + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits
Direct Counsel represents an AmLaw 100 firm seeking a Mid-Level Real Estate Finance Associate to join its highly regarded Real Estate Practice in New York .
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 2+ years of commercial real estate finance experience who is looking to work on sophisticated, high-value lending transactions representing institutional lenders in complex commercial real estate financings.
Key Responsibilities- Represent lenders in the origination of large, structured commercial real estate finance transactions.
- Manage complex, multi-party transactions from due diligence through closing.
- Coordinate closing checklists and collaborate with paralegals and deal team members to ensure efficient transaction execution.
- Advise clients on a broad range of commercial real estate financing matters.
- Work closely with a collaborative national team on sophisticated real estate transactions.
- 2+ years of commercial real estate finance experience.
- Experience representing lenders in structured commercial real estate lending transactions.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex matters.
- Experience with mezzanine loans, preferred equity, asset management, or loan workouts is a plus.
- Excellent drafting, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong academic credentials.
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Active bar admission in the jurisdiction where the candidate intends to practice.
- Salary: $235,000–$385,000, depending on experience.
- Discretionary performance bonus.
