Network Engineer I

Network Engineer IGilbert has an exciting opportunity for a Network Engineer I ready to keep a growing city's technology running strong. In this role, you'll support and maintain enterprise systems across our data center — both physical and virtual — and partner directly with staff and stakeholders to shape where our technology goes next while advising leadership on risk. However, a non-technical degree can be acceptable if complemented with the appropriate certifications and/or experience;Three years of experience in the Information Technology industry;Two years of Enterprise Network Design and Administration, including Firewall Security;Must be able to pass a Police background check;Valid Arizona Driver License;Must participate in on-call rotation;CISCO CCNA preferred;CompTIA Network + preferred.This position is an At-Will position and is FLSA Exempt – ineligible for overtime compensation.
