Receptionist/Customer Service Representative
We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized Receptionist/Customer Service Representative to support our front office and assist with the daily needs of our insurance customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities while providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome customers and assist with front-office needs. Answer incoming phone calls and transfer calls as needed. Respond to customer questions and provide general assistance. Take and process customer payments. Answer billing questions and help resolve account concerns. Process policy endorsements and requested changes. Send insurance identification cards and policy documents. Assist customers with filing insurance claims. Process mortgagee changes. Maintain accurate customer and policy information. Complete small administrative and clerical tasks. Communicate professionally with customers, insurance carriers, and team members. Protect confidential customer and company information.
Qualifications:
Strong customer service and communication skills. Friendly, professional, and helpful attitude. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Comfortable answering phones and assisting customers in person. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy office environment. Basic computer and data-entry skills. Previous receptionist or customer service experience preferred. Ability to learn insurance systems, policies, and procedures.
Position Details:
Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM Work Location: In person at 1600 S. Hope Street, Jackson, MO 63755
