Seeking an Experienced Commercial Roofing Service Estimator/Inspector to join our local team!

Location: Villa Park, IL – In-Office with Regular Job Site Visits

What You'll Do

As a Commercial Roofing Service Estimator / Inspector, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to our customers while providing the technical expertise needed to support commercial roof service, repair, and maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct commercial roof inspections and site evaluations
• Assess existing roof conditions and identify repair, maintenance, and service needs
• Collect field measurements, photographs, and technical data required for estimating
• Prepare accurate estimates, bids, and service proposals
• Develop detailed scopes of work for service and repair projects
• Obtain vendor and subcontractor pricing when needed
• Evaluate labor, material, equipment, and project execution requirements
• Present findings, recommendations, and solutions to customers
• Collaborate closely with Service Managers, Operations teams, and field personnel
• Participate in pre-job planning and post-project reviews
• Analyze estimated versus actual costs to improve future pricing accuracy
• Maintain organized project documentation and service records

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of commercial roofing or related commercial construction experience
• Experience preparing service estimates and proposals
• Strong understanding of roofing systems, repair methodologies, and maintenance programs
• Ability to read specifications, work orders, and technical documentation
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
