We are recruiting recruiters! Verigent is a staffing company focused in the telecom/low-voltage/data center, IT/Technology and Electrical/Construction Management industries. Job Title: Staffing Recruiter Compensation: base pay + uncapped commission (first year estimate is approx. $55-60,000 with ample growth opportunity) Hours: Mon-Fri; Full Time Position Summary: This recruiter will focus on IT, Data Center, and Construction Management roles, including professionals overseeing infrastructure and construction for data center projects. These are longer-term placements, so a strong read on candidates' soft skills, motivations, and long-term fit is just as important as their technical qualifications. Primary responsibilities include: Developing an understanding of the skill sets in the IT and Construction Management fields, including roles supporting data center, construction, and low-voltage infrastructure Searching for potential candidates that meet certain skill criteria Reaching out to candidates via LinkedIn, phone, email, text, etc. Identifying candidates' strengths, interests, and long-term career motivations Assessing soft skills and cultural fit for longer-term client placements Matching candidates with the clients and jobs that best fit with their goals and skills Why work with Verigent? Preferred skills: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Prior staffing/recruiting experience is a plus, though not required to be industry-specific Experience at a smaller company preferred Effective communication Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Ability to learn and use multiple business applications proficiently Essential functions of the job: Stationary positioning, including sitting for extended periods of time Repetitive motions, including the use of fine motor skills in the arms, hands and fingers Communication with others to exchange information The environment for this job will involve: Indoor elements with expected temperatures Interactions with other individuals The job description is subject to change at supervisor’s discretion at any time.
