A Charleston area Law Firm is seeking experienced paralegal.
BI-LINGUAL SPANISH
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interview clients, third parties, and expert witnesses.
- Prepare legal documents for attorney's approval.
- Maintain document control system.
- Oversee cases by managing files and documents.
- Coordinate with support services and clients, opposing law firms, and courts.
- Process settlement papers and payments.
- Prepare for trial by preparing trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness files.
- Request records, bills and reports.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years experience Personal Injury
- Litigation experience a plus
- Case Management software experience
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Analyze & summarize medical records
- Dealing with Complex issues
- Legal Research and Writing Skills
- Multi-tasking
- Detail Oriented/Highly Organized
- Maintain Client Relationships
- Real Estate & Workers' Compensation law is a plus
