Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated Certified Pharmacy Technician to join a patient-focused community pharmacy team in Lincoln City, Oregon. Working under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, you will assist with medication preparation, labeling, and a variety of technical support functions while helping provide exceptional pharmaceutical care to the community.

About the Department


Samaritan Pharmacy - Lincoln City is a community pharmacy located adjacent to Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital. The pharmacy serves the public by dispensing outpatient prescriptions and providing services such as immunizations, medication management, and bedside discharge medications. The team is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and dispensing.
• Accurately label and package prescriptions.
• Maintain medication inventory and pharmacy supplies.
• Process prescriptions while ensuring accuracy and compliance with pharmacy regulations.
• Provide outstanding customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
• Support pharmacy workflow and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Follow all state, federal, and facility policies and procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Current, active Oregon Certified Pharmacy Technician license required at the time of submission.
• Completion of a Medical Pharmacy Technician program preferred.
• Experience with EPIC EMR is a plus.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

• 13-week contract
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Day shifts (8:00 AM - 7:15 PM)
• Rotating weekend schedule
• Holiday coverage required
