Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering relevant diagnostic testing, and creating personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues either in concert with physicians or independently (based on qualifications)
• Providing education to patients and families regarding wellness, disease prevention, and effective management strategies
• Issuing prescriptions for medications and treatments aligned with your practice authority
• Engaging in chronic disease management and patient follow-up services
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate complete and integrated healthcare
• Maintaining accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner degree program

Required Credentials

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
