Warehouse Associate – Receiving & Inventory

Location: Lima, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay: Starting at $18.00/hour
Job Type: Full-Time

Experienced in warehouse receiving and inventory?

We are looking for a reliable Warehouse Associate with hands-on receiving and inventory experience to join our team in Lima, NY.

Previous warehouse receiving and inventory experience is required.

In this role, you will receive incoming materials, verify shipments, maintain accurate inventory records, and help keep the warehouse organized and running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
• Check shipments for damage, shortages, and discrepancies
• Enter receiving and inventory information into our system
• Organize, label, and properly store materials
• Perform inventory and cycle counts
• Track inventory movement
• Pick, pack, and prepare materials for shipment or production
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Complete shipping and receiving paperwork
• Report damaged goods and inventory discrepancies
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse

Qualifications

Required:

• Previous warehouse receiving experience
• Experience with inventory control or inventory management
• Experience receiving, inspecting, and verifying shipments
• Basic computer and data-entry skills
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly

Preferred:

• WMS, ERP, or inventory software experience
• Barcode scanner experience
• Forklift experience or certification
• Manufacturing or industrial warehouse experience
• Experience with cycle counts
