Patient Registration Representative

In Patient Registration at Main Campus Children's of Alabama Work schedule will be Full-time on the Day Shift, 7:30a-4:00p In BR ODA surgery registration desk. Summary Responsible for performing multiple customer-focused Patient Registration tasks (pre-registration verification, limited financial counseling, scheduling and follow up appointments, and co-pay collection. Responsible for working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical setting. Must be flexible and willing to work in different physical locations and roles as needed to meet customer needs. Expected to report as needed during periods of inclement weather, disasters, and state's of emergency. Other Information Ability to work independently. Previous registration and scheduling experience preferred. Knowledge of EPIC systems and/or other registration applications referred. Ability to display excellent customer service skills is required.
