The position involves providing specialized care in a Level II childrens hospital with a Level IV NICU, supporting high-risk neonatal patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day and must meet the experience and certification criteria as specified. Job Details: * Location: Tacoma, Washington * Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week * Required Qualifications: Valid Washington State license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level III-IV NICU. * Preferred Qualifications: Experience with respiratory support for vents, trachs (highly preferred but not required), g-tubes, NG/OG tubes, NCPAP, UAC/UVC management, PICC lines, medication administration, and care plans. * Additional Information: * Shift times are from 0700 to 1930 or 1900 to 0730. * Candidates should possess a friendly attitude and good demeanor. * Floating to Emergency Room to act as a sitter may be required rarely. * Every other weekend rotation, with possible back-to-back weekends. * Block scheduling is possible but not guaranteed. * EMR systems used include EPIC, CERNER, and MEDITECH. * The facility supports a NICU with private rooms, overflow of Level II nursery for feeders and growers, and high-risk labor and delivery services.
