WORKINGCONDITIONS

Worksinwell-lighted/ventilated officeandtherapy areas. Sitting,standing,bending,liftingandmovingintermittentlyduringworkinghours. Subjecttofrequentinterruptions. Involvedwithpatients/residents,familymembers,personnel,etc.,underallconditions/circumstances. Subjecttohostileandemotionallyupsetpatients/residents,familymembers,etc. Communicates with the medical staff, nursing personnel, andother departmentsupervisors. Willingnessto workbeyond normal working hours, and in otherpositions temporarily, whennecessary. Mustbeconstantlyalertforpatient’s/resident’ssafety. Subject to falls, burns from equipment, infectious diseases, odors, etc., throughout theworkday. Subjecttolifting,carryingandsupportingpatients/residents. AbletotravelbetweenfacilitiesasindicatedbySupervisor. Mobilephoneuseisonlypermittedduringbreakandnonpaidallocatedlunchtimes.Phonesshouldbekeptonvibrateatalltimes. Specificrequirements Completionofon-the-joborientationandtrainingprogram. Physicalrequirements Mustbeabletomorewith(perform)walk,stoop,bend,stand,sitpush,pullandlift) intermittently throughoutthe workday. Mustbeable tospeak theEnglishlanguageinanunderstandablemanner. Mustbeabletocopewiththementalandemotionalstressoftheposition.
