Remote Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Key Responsibilities Conduct individual therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities to address clients' behavioral health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and executive functioning challenges. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on each client’s unique circumstances and goals. These plans will be regularly updated to reflect progress and changes in client needs. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, which includes social workers, medical professionals, and other therapists, to deliver comprehensive care plans and supportive services. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment interactions, and outcomes in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Stay informed about current best practices and evidence-based interventions in behavioral health through ongoing education and training. Actively participate in team meetings, sharing insights and strategies to enhance client care and foster a positive work environment. Patient Population / Client Focus This role is primarily focused on counseling young individuals and adolescents who experience a range of behavioral health issues. You will work closely with clients and their families to build trusting therapeutic relationships, facilitating meaningful dialogue that promotes healing and understanding. Recognizing the distinct needs of this demographic, you will employ tailored therapeutic approaches that resonate with their developmental stage and resonate with their experiences. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline is required. Must hold current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California. Demonstrated clinical skills with a proven ability to establish rapport and trust with clients. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that foster collaboration with colleagues and clients alike. A commitment to ongoing professional development and the ability to adapt to emerging trends in mental health service delivery. Preferred Experience Previous experience working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic setting would be highly advantageous. Familiarity with evidence-based treatments and interventions for mental health disorders. Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and treatment planning. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from $52,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
