Key Responsibilities\n Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: \n \n Conducting thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms. \n Developing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, taking into consideration their unique circumstances, goals, and preferences. \n Employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address clients' needs effectively. \n Providing education and support regarding mood disorders and treatment options, as well as promoting self-care practices. \n Monitoring client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and maintaining accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards. \n Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients. \n Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to enhance your skills and stay current with developments in the field. \n Advocating for clients' needs and challenging the stigma surrounding mental health, ensuring they receive the best support possible. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n The primary focus of your work will be with individuals and families navigating challenges related to marriage, family dynamics, and relationship difficulties. You will specifically support clients dealing with divorce, relationship strains, and associated mood disorders, helping them to build resilience and coping strategies for healthier interactions. Qualifications\n The ideal candidate will possess: \n \n An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). \n A Master’s or Doctorate degree specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy. \n Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients. \n A strong sense of empathy, nonjudgmental attitude, and sensitivity toward clients' experiences. \n Excellent organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage administrative tasks alongside clinical responsibilities. \n Preferred Experience\n While not mandatory, preferred qualifications include experience in one or more therapeutic modalities such as structural family therapy, narrative therapy, or communicative therapy.
