We're seeking a future team member for the role of Fund/Client Accounting Manager to join our Fund Accounting team. This role location is Lake Mary, FL.In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:Direct a Fund Accounting area consisting of multiple teams responsible for accounting services including determining net asset values, calculating fund performance, allocating expenses, and preparing reportsManage financial and human resources for the unit, ensuring teams operate effectively to meet goals and objectivesSet guidelines for determining net asset value (NAV) across various fund sectors and promote consistency across product areasOversee client relationship management, ensuring service levels meet client needs and resolving client issuesParticipate in sales efforts including RFP and RFI preparation and presentationsProvide oversight and guidance on financial statement disclosures and resolve complex escalated issuesLead analysis of GAAP and/or IFRS rules to assess regulatory impacts and develop compliance policiesSet guidelines and priorities for drafting financial reports and communicate complex accounting details to clientsRecruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff to maximize individual and team performanceManage relationships with senior auditors and clients to ensure accurate financial reporting and fund performance depictionOversee multiple Fund/Client Accounting teams through subordinate managers and contribute to achieving team objectivesTo be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience7-10 years of total work experience with at least 3-5 years in management preferredExperience in fund accounting and client relationship managementBig 4 accounting firm experience preferredProven people leadership skills with ability to recruit, develop, and motivate teamsOur Benefits and Rewards:BNY offers highly competitive compensation, benefits, and wellbeing programs rooted in a strong culture of excellence and our pay-for-performance philosophy.
