Site Practice Director Positions open in Gypsum, Glenwood Springs, and Basalt, CO General Purpose The Site Practice Director provides operational and administrative leadership for a multi‑specialty healthcare clinic at Mountain Family Health Centers. Partnering closely with the Site Medical Director, the Site Practice Director oversees daily operations, staff leadership, financial performance, and the delivery of high‑quality, patient‑centered care. Together, the Site Practice Director and Site Medical Director serve as co‑leaders for the site, driving performance across quality, patient experience, financial stewardship, and employee engagement. Responsibilities Clinic Operations & Leadership Lead daily clinic operations to ensure efficient, compliant, and patient‑centered care Partner with clinical leadership to meet organizational goals related to quality, access, and sustainability Maintain site readiness for regulatory, safety, and accreditation standards Oversee facility needs, equipment, supplies, and vendor coordination Participate in site‑based and organizational committees as needed Staff Leadership & Supervision Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate non‑provider care team staff, including Medical Assistants and Dental Assistants Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that supports staff engagement and retention Support staff development, coaching, and adherence to policies and procedures Financial & Strategic Management Collaborate on site budgets, staffing plans, and cost‑containment strategies Monitor financial performance and support revenue and expense targets Assist in planning and implementation of new initiatives and workflow improvements Quality, Safety & Patient Experience Support quality improvement and patient experience initiatives Address patient concerns and complaints in collaboration with leadership and compliance teams Ensure confidentiality, infection control practices, and safety procedures are consistently followed Required Qualifications Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment Proficiency with electronic health records, practice management systems, and Microsoft Office Qualifications vary by clinic size and scope, but all candidates should demonstrate strong leadership experience in healthcare operations Physical & Work Requirements Ability to travel between clinic locations and attend meetings or conferences Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform typical clinic‑based physical activities Employment contingent on background check, drug screening, and TB testing Why Join MFHC?
