Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Join a skilled nursing facility in Gallup, NM as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Provide evaluation and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders while collaborating with an experienced therapy team. Minimum Qualifications Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Active New Mexico state license or ability to obtain before start of assignment. BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred. Ability to meet 90% productivity requirement as required by facility policy (client-specific requirement). Willingness to follow facility policies and procedures and to be present in the building to receive guaranteed hours (client-specific requirement). Preferred Qualifications Previous experience with dysphagia management and cognitive-communication disorders in a SNF population. Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in rehabilitation settings. Assignment Details Shift name: Days. Dress code: black scrubs (client-specific requirement). Therapist must be present in the building to receive guaranteed hours (client-specific requirement).
