Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Summary:
Seeking a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse to provide specialized care for critically ill newborns. This role involves delivering advanced clinical interventions and supporting families during challenging times.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor complex neonatal treatments and medications in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Evaluate patient conditions continuously and escalate concerns promptly to ensure timely intervention.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress.
• Educate and support families on neonatal care, discharge instructions, and health maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Hold a permanent Ohio license or compact license at the time of submission.
• Possess at least 18 months of recent, relevant neonatal or pediatric experience.
• Demonstrate active certifications, including ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate.
• Pass ECG and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation with acceptable scores.
• Complete BCI/FBI background checks within 48 hours of signing.
• Be nicotine-free, with negative 10-panel + Cotinine drug screen within the past 12 months.
