St. Rose Convent is home to the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration and the Mary of the Angels Chapel. We are seeking full-time and part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at St. Rose Convent in La Crosse. We are looking for someone who shares our values of partnership and compassion and desires a culture that puts relationships first. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care while embodying our mission of love and service. Your contributions will be vital in fostering a healing environment that aligns with our values. The RN's will promote harmony of body, mind and spirit through a team approach by offering services to the retired Sisters that will advocate and foster the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being while also promoting the independence of each Sister. Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in State of Wisconsin
- Identify with and display a commitment to the mission, philosophy, and core values of the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration
- Maintain a valid driver's license
- Ability for a weekend rotation and holiday rotation
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems
- Ability to support caregivers and other nursing staff in accordance with policies
- Understanding of the nursing process as it applies to long term care, including assessments, care planning, and evaluations.
- a love of working with seniors,
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- a commitment to person-directed care (or as we call it--relationship-centered care!)
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Previous work experience in Geriatrics preferred
