Leasing Manager & In-House Counsel

We are seeking an elite Leasing Manager & In-House Counsel to drive revenue, lead legal strategy, and maximize value creation across a high-quality portfolio of company-owned assets.

This is not an administrative role. This is a front-line, deal-driven position for a unique professional who is both a proven operator and a sharp legal strategist. The right candidate thinks like an investor, moves with urgency, and possesses the rare ability to both aggressively hunt for deals and expertly draft and execute them in-house.

You will represent the Company at the highest level with brokers, tenants, external counsel, and the broader real estate community, serving as the ultimate closer for our portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Deal-Making & Portfolio Strategy

• Own Portfolio Performance: Drive leasing performance across the portfolio with full accountability for occupancy, tenant quality, and revenue growth.
• Source & Close: Prospect, structure, and close high-impact deals—moving from initial outreach through execution, turnover, and stabilization.
• Broker Management: Lead and aggressively manage third-party brokers to outperform market benchmarks.
• Investor Mindset: Underwrite and analyze lease economics to maximize NOI and asset value.
• Tenant Relations: Build and leverage deep relationships with top-tier tenants and national retailers.

Legal Execution & Risk Management

• In-House Transactional Legal: Draft, review, and negotiate all leasing documentation from inception to execution, including LOIs, complex commercial leases, amendments, renewals, and side letters.
• Landlord Work & Development: Structure and negotiate complex landlord work agreements, construction exhibits, and tenant improvement allowances.
• Mitigate Risk: Safeguard company assets by identifying, analyzing, and mitigating legal risks within lease structures, while maintaining a commercial, solutions-oriented approach.
• Dispute Resolution & Enforcement: Manage tenant default notices, lease interpretations, and tenant-related legal disputes, coordination with outside litigation counsel when necessary.
• Regulatory & Entitlements: Navigate entitlements, zoning approvals, and municipal engagement, ensuring absolute compliance across all property operations.
