Area Sales Manager

Intuitive Surgical

Area Sales Manager position focused on selling da Vinci Surgical Systems to hospitals in the Long Island area. The role involves managing the complex sales process, building surgeon and administrator support, achieving quarterly targets, and coordinating system installations.

Responsibilities

Manage sales process of da Vinci systems into new and existing hospitals
Build surgical advocacy teams and relationships with hospital leadership
Develop territory sales plan in partnership with Area Sales Director
Achieve quarterly sales targets and drive procedural volume growth
Coordinate system installation and handle contractual communications

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
Minimum 5+ years medical device sales experience
Knowledge of operating room environment
Proven track record in capital medical equipment sales
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to travel up to 50%

Compensation: $350,000 target pay (base + commission)
