Senior Equipment Engineering Technician

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization."BEJOBS" Job Title: Senior Equipment Engineering Technician Location: Fremont, CA Pay Range: $30 to $45 per hour Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00pm-10:30pm ES (2nd shift) What's the Job? Support and maintain high‑speed automated manufacturing equipment across various production lines. Diagnose and repair complex automated equipment, including PLC and HMI systems. Participate in the commissioning of new automated systems and ensure all devices operate as designed. Install, start‑up, and support vision systems for tracking and quality inspections. Analyze production data to identify opportunities for safety improvements, cost reductions, and quality enhancements. What's Needed? Minimum of 9+ years experience in a high‑capacity manufacturing environment preferred. Associate degree or technical certification in Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or Industrial Maintenance required. Experience with automated equipment, PLC programming, and industrial control systems. Knowledge of safety standards, ergonomic practices, and equipment requirement development.
