• Valid Special Education Teaching credential (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe, as applicable)

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
• Familiarity with evidence-based instructional strategies and behavioral interventions

• Previous school-based experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address students’ academic, behavioral, and functional goals
• Create a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth
• Deliver specialized instruction using strategies tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
• Collect data and monitor student progress, regularly adjusting instruction as needed
• Collaborate with general educators, support staff, and families to promote student success and inclusion
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
• Maintain accurate records and uphold compliance with state and federal special education requirements
