HR Generalist -Tewksbury, MA (Onsite)

 

My client, a nationally recognized company, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join their HR Department. This role is fully onsite in their Tewksbury office and reports to the Director of HR.

Hands-on responsibilities include benefits, payroll (Paycom), HRIS, and recruiting. The ideal candidate is someone who can operate independently, is resourceful, comfortable with technology and HR systems, and can serve as a strong HR resource for my client.

Responsibilities include:

• Benefits: Strong experience with self-funded benefits is highly preferred. The individual should be comfortable managing benefits, supporting employees with benefit questions, and assisting with open enrollment and benefits guidance.
• • Benefits Administration & HRIS Support
  • Strong experience with self-funded benefits and the ability to independently manage day-to-day benefits administration.
  • Comfortable monitoring systems and identifying when something is not working correctly, researching the issue, and working with Paycom or the appropriate vendor to resolve it.
  • Experience supporting open enrollment, including system setup, employee communications, benefit education, enrollment troubleshooting, and ensuring elections are accurately reflected in the HRIS and vendor systems.
  • Able to manage and reconcile monthly benefit billing, including reviewing consolidated invoices, identifying discrepancies, researching variances, and coordinating corrections with vendors as needed.
• Payroll : Strong payroll experience is also valuable, particularly someone who can troubleshoot and independently work through payroll-related issues.
• HRIS : Comfortable learning new systems and ideally is familiar with Paycom.
• Technical/Problem-Solving Skills: Being tech-savvy is a must. They should be comfortable troubleshooting HRIS issues, researching solutions, and working independently to resolve problems.
• Recruiting: Full-cycle recruiting experience is a must. Experience recruiting across a broad range of positions—from warehouse/operations roles through management-level positions—is particularly important.

Qualifications Include:

· 3+ years as an HR Generalist

· Strong computer skills

· US Citizen or authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

· Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Paycom

· Strong communication skills- verbal and written

· HR or Payroll Certifications a plus!

 

Compensation: $55K–$70K, depending on experience, education, relevant certifications, overall qualifications, and alignment with the requirements of the role.
